Imagine A New SouthAsia! is conceived as a broad based citizens' initiative to advance a shared sense of South Asian vision and mission to promote more policy convergence on key issues, more regional cooperation, joint initiative at the government as well as civil society level. It seeks to promote the vision of a peaceful, prosperous, just and democratic South Asia. This initiative is planned as a broad based process that would work with existing networks, alliances and South-Asia wide initiatives and campaigns. It is neither a new network nor an alliance but a broad platform to promote a free and fair South Asia.
